Title of position: Construction Worker
Terms of employment: Full-time, year-round work
Job Duties:
• Load, unload and transport construction material to the work areas
• Assist the trades person by positioning and holding material in place for fastening, cut etc.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps etc
• Assist in removing concrete forms for foundation walls and retaining walls
• Remove debris from the job site and clean the dwellings from nails, sawdust, drywall, flooring and construction cut-offs
• Operating various power and hand tools would be considered an asset
• Perform other related duties as required
Wages: $ 22.50/hr for 40 hrs per week.
Work setting: projects are located across the Greater Toronto Area.

Skills requirement and Experience:
• Completion of Secondary School considered an asset.
• Some previous work experience as a general construction labourer is preferred.
• Basic English is required
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as required.
