Live-in caregiver

The Anand’s Family is looking for a Live-in caregiver to care for their parents. This is a full-time, year-round, permanent position.
Duties:
• Provide elderly clients with companionship and personal care in the client’s home under the direction of family members
• Assist in regular exercise
• Assist in feeding, if necessary
• Shop for food and household supplies related to the elderly person
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and keep track of the health and medications of the client
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the elderly person
• Perform other related duties as required
Wages: $21.25/hr for 40 hours per week.
Work setting: Private home located nearby the intersection of 120 Ave and Whalley Blvd, Surrey, BC

Required skills:
• Minimum of 1-year experience in similar positions or completion of a 6-month training program in a relevant field is required.
• Ability to communicate in English
