Position: Seafood Preparer – Fish & Seafood Processing
Wage: CAD$18.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Dental Care, Vision Care, Life insurance, Extended health care, Disability insurance
Job Duties:
· Cut, clean and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing
· Scrape away scales, cut fish, separate fillets and remove scrap parts using knife
· Maintain a sanitary work environment by following COVID protocols and routine cleaning protocols of equipment
· Additional duties as required
Education Requirement:
· No education required
Job Requirements (Experience/Qualifications):
· Previous experience with seafood is considered as an asset
· Thrive in a highly repetitive task environment
· Able to work in refrigerated, cold climate
· Ability to life heavy objects (50ibs) and stand for extended periods
· Flexible to work various shifts and weekends
