Job duties:
– Prepare and cook meals of Mediterranean flavour and style
– Clean kitchen and work area, including abiding by Covid-19 sanitation procedures
– Estimate ingredients and portions required for dishes while paying attention to stock and supplies of foodstuffs
– Oversee operations within the kitchen and ensure safe operation of all appliances and cooking utensils
Terms of employment: permanent; full-time; part-time; days, evenings, and weekends; full-time staff can expect to work approximately 40 hours per week, part-time staff may work a variety of hours
Wage: $16.00-22.00/hour, based on experience

Education required: Completion of high school is required. Completion of post-secondary training as a commercial cook may substitute for required work experience.
Work experience required: Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial cooking is required.
Skill requirements: Experience with Mediterranean cuisine is an asset to the position.
Language requirements: Writing and speaking English language is required.
