Penner Doors & Hardware (www.pennerdoors.com) part of West Four Group of Companies Inc (see: www.westfour.ca) located at 327 Wheeler Place, Saskatoon, SK, S7P 0A4 is hiring a full time and permanent Service/Installer of Electronic Access Control and Commercial Doors. You will be service our clients in Saskatoon and surrounding area.
Electronic Entry Control Duties
• Install, maintain and repair business access control systems such as Vingcard and Orian
• Test access control systems for proper functioning
• Diagnose problems with faults of access control systems
• Adjust access control systems following manufacturer guidelines
• Install products in accordance with manufacturers specs
• Complete work orders
• Error free and timely service and installation of access control systems by ensure that access control is completed according to customers specification
• Identify potential problems and address them with site and your manager
• Accurate estimating of time to complete tasks and adherence to agreed deadlines
• Error free delivery of product when required: Completes paperwork showing the pickup and delivery of product to site and use of company vehicle to move product and tools to and from site with adherence to safety standards
Door Installer Duties
• Install all commercial/industrial doors
• Ensure doors, frames and hardware are installed according to specifications and building codes
• Full adherence to safety work requirements: Getting informed and follows site safety requirements, Adherence to regulatory safety requirements, Maintain a clean and safe working environment, Completion of all safety forms according to the Penner safety manual
• Accurate, timely and relevant day to day communication with Manager and team by following correct document procedures and documentation as per Penner doors and hardware procedures. Notify site and manager of any delays or advances in project schedules. Notify PM or manager of any scope change
• Capable of professional and responsible representation of Penner to customer, suppliers, and related personnel: Strives for effective communication in resolving issues to achieve win – win solutions Conducts self in an honest and trustworthy manner, Shows respect and high regard for all persons and property in all of dealings
• A dedicated focus on personal and professional development by constantly updating product knowledge, attending in-house and external programs as to improve “installation process” Work area is neat and tidy at all times
Education Requirement
• Vingcard certified
Experience Requirements
• Be able to perform the duties listed above
• Competent in electronic access control systems and installation doors
• A valid driver’s license
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Positive Can-do attitude
• Willingness to work hard, learn, and multi-task, as well as go the extra mile for your teammates and our clients
• Be neat in appearance, have respect for others, and be a team player.
Wage
• $26 per hour
