POSITION STATUS: Temporary Full- time (16 month contract)

DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:

SickKids Foundation is looking for a new team member on the extraordinary, award-winning Brand Strategy and Communications Team. Be a part of building the SickKids VS brand platform as a Marketing Manager.

The Manager, Integrated Brand Marketing has the primary responsibility of assisting the internal team on the strategy and development of the SickKids VS brand advertising, with both external agency partners and internal creative resources, as well as integration of those advertising assets across all fundraising portfolios of the Foundation. In addition, the Manager will be responsible for building, executing and delivering marketing/communication services to our internal partners, and be accountable for project management, from planning through to execution, including workflow and budget management.

Required SkillsYOU WILL:

• Act as primary point of contact for internal partners;

• Have overall accountability and leadership for end to end execution of internal partners’ projects ensuring work is completed accurately and within the agreed upon timelines;

• Gain a deep understanding of the fundraising channel business requirements and proactively anticipates client needs, identifies solutions and increases the value of service;

• Develop creative briefs, proposals and presents project deliverables, such as creative, to partners;

• Manage all aspects of project budget and initiates documentation process for change request, where necessary, with the support of a marketing coordinator;

• Collaborate with the content and creative services team on the production of marketing and communication materials for their fundraising partners;

• Produce post-campaign documentation for internal and external purposes;

• In collaboration with the Associate Director, Integrated Brand Marketing participates in brand related strategic planning session, working closely together with client and external agency strategy team;

• Manage external agencies, suppliers and vendor relationships ensuring projects are delivered on-time and on-budget;

• Execute and manages the adherence to the established service level agreements with internal fundraising partners and external agencies.

Qualifications:

While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:

• Degree in Marketing/Communications or related field;

• Minimum 5-7 years in progressive marketing roles with understanding of marketing strategy and support, overall media landscape, including digital and brand advertising;

• Prior experience at an advertising agency is an asset;

• Prior experience in corporate sponsorships or corporate social responsibility marketing

• Ability to lead and execute creative development and production processes;

• Knowledge of creative design concepts including graphic design, print production

• Excels at building relationships and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders;

• Strong collaboration and cross-functional influencing skills;

• Experience managing and working in collaboration with creative agencies;

• Superior attention to detail as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills;

• A ‘‘hands on’’ creative and dynamic approach for delivering project results with a focus on best practices;

• Strong project management and performance measurement skills;

• Ability to think strategically and problem solving skills;

• Strong analytical skills;

• Ability to manage a large volume of work while thriving in a fast paced, high expectation environment;

• Ability to manage multiple projects and demands at a time;

• Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office.

TOTAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

SALARY RANGE: $78,481- $114,734
