Job Description:
-Book appointments
-Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences
-Shampoo customers’ hair
-Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages
-Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
-Apply bleach, tints, dyes like ombre, sombre, balayage
-Familiar with straightening techniques and digital perm
-Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
Job Requirements:
-Ability to communicate orally and writing in English is required.
-College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
or equivalent experience
-2-3 years as a hairstylist is required
-Experience in eyelash extensions/brow services is an asset.
