Job Description:

• supervise, plan, assign and oversee shipping, receiving, storing and distributing parts and products
• ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, standards and regulations are followed
• train employees including management in job duties as needed
• work closely within our Airfreight, Ocean and Logistic departments to provide support as required
• resolve various complaints and implement measures for process improvements
• assist with identifying key stakeholders and various markets as potential new clients
• complete process of shipment; arranging pick-up or booking, prepare bill of lading, invoicing,
• certificate of origin, export declaration and/or CAED, AES, follow up with tracking and tracing to final destination
• area expert in freight forwarding particularly Helicopter Logistics

Main responsibilities will include:

• work closely within our Airfreight, Ocean, and Logistic departments
• be our area expert in regards to freight forwarding within our industry and in particular Helicopter Logistics Specialist
• assistance with identifying key stakeholders and various markets as potential new clients
• area expert within our navigation/operating systems, which include CargoWise expertise
• complete process of shipment includes arranging for pick-up or booking, document preparation (bill of lading, invoicing, certificate of origin, phytosanitary, export declaration and/or CAED, AES), follow-up with tracking and tracing to final destination and data quality requirement
• customer service responsibilities include maintaining communication with shipper, customer, carrier, and overseas offices throughout the process and choosing proper routing appropriate to the customer’s need
• operational duties to include coordination with shippers, truckers, steamship lines for the export of shipments
