Computer network technician

We are seeking a Computer Network Technician to work at our Sicamous, BC, location. The right candidate will perform the following tasks:
– Provide troubleshooting support to network users and implement security protocols for data, software, and hardware.
– Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, as well as computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
– Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
– Load computer tapes and disks, and install software, printer paper, and forms.
– Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.
– Conduct data backups and manage disaster recovery operations.
– Set up local area networks and internet connections.

Compensation: $31.00 per hour.
