Ramen Danbo brings traditional Fukuoka style Kyusyu Hakata Tonkotsu ramen to Japanese food fans in Vancouver. The aroma of our signature Tonkotsu broth is unmistakable – a simple but truly delicious umami, always made daily in-house.
Currently we are looking for a permanent and full time qualified Cook to join us.
Job Responsibilities:
· Make Hakata style Tonkotsu broth
· Prepare individual ramen noodles and cook other Japanese side dishes
· Handle and control daily food quality
· Control ingredient freshness and follow the food safety standard
· Train kitchen helpers and new cooks
· Open and closing duties
· Prevent accidents in the kitchen by organizing equipment
Requirements:
· Completion of Secondary School is required
· Minimum two years of working experience as a cook is required
· Ability to work as a team in a fast paced and high pressure environment
· Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking skills
· Ability to spend all the time standing and walking through shift
Wage/Working Hours
· Wage: $17.20 /hr
· Hour: 37.50hrs/week
· Permanent and Full time position
