Supervisory Duties
• Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of aestheticians and message therapists
• Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Resolve work-related problems
• Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Requisition supplies and materials
• Ensure smooth operation of the branch
• Monitor quality and production levels
Esthetician Duties
• Give facial and other body treatments
• Clean, shape and give facial and other body treatments
• Perform skincare services, such as wraps and facials
• Welcome clients and explain the list of services and products offered
• Booking clients and handling phone calls, emails, walk in guests
• Complete online bookings and scheduling efficiency
• Confident in sales and retail. Able to assist front desk with clients
• Attend continuing education programs and regular staff meetings to keep skills updated with the newest methods and technologies
• Explain how the service will affect the client’s skin and offer advice on which service is best for them
• Evaluating a customer’s skin condition and offer recommendations for treatments
• Recommending skin care products to customers, including moisturizers and facial washes
• Waxing or plucking unwanted hair, providing facials, and administering other cosmetic treatments
• Perform deep tissue massage or be willing to learn
• Manicure and pedicure experience an added advantage
• A commitment to being trained and performing services on our menu. Including any body work, skin, and nail care. Must be willing to learn and perform deep tissue
• Self-assessment chart for growth
Education
• Courses in Nail Technology, Manicure or Pedicure
• Course as Cosmetologist or Aesthetician
Experience
• Experience in Pedicure, manicure, facials, and body treatments
• English is the language at the workplace
• Must be willing to change days and hours worked without prior notice. Working as a team collectively when needed
• Understanding of resort work life or having worked in a resort before

• Punctual, professional attire, performing all cleaning, reception, and operations checklist

• Open to correction and willingness to improve professionalism and performance. Avoid taking criticism personally. Constructive criticism is given regularly and must be viewed as productive, and this must be an understanding prior to employment
• KPI must be followed and executed, ongoing training and development will be given to ensure goals and targets are met. Must be open to learn and correction
• Personal hygiene in terms of attire, hair, tied back, name, tag, or uniform, smelling and looking clean
• Modest facial jewellery only. Must get checked by manager
Wages and Benefits
• $23 – $25 per hour working 35 to 40 hours per week
• Bonuses could be paid for production
