Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook is required
– Having knowledge and experience in making Japanese ramen soup base is an asset
Job duties:
– Prepare, cook, and present Japanese style appetizers such as Takoyaki, Kaki Fry, Karaage, Tempura, and Okonomiyaki;
– Prepare, cook, and present Japanese style main dishes such as Ramen, Udon, Donburi, Curry Rice, and Yakisoba;
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances if necessary;
– Plan menus and determine size of food portions and presentation of food;
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and order them as needed;
– Estimate food requirements and costs;
– Train/Supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
– Clean and inspect kitchen and work areas
