Hiring a Dog Grooming Studio Manager
Qualifications:
– Completion of secondary school is required.
– A college diploma or vocational certificate in dog grooming is an asset.
– One to three years of experience (1-3 years) as a dog groomer or relevant progressive work experience at dog grooming studio or salon is required.
– Proficiency in English is required.
Responsibilities:
– Manage the overall operations of the grooming studio
– Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operation of the dog grooming studio
– Control dog grooming related inventories in the studio
– Manage, assign duties and review the work performance of groomers;
– Prepare weekly or monthly reports to owners;
– Hire and train new groomer in job duties, policies, and safety procedures;
– Respond to inquiries regarding grooming and general health conditions of dogs; and
– Resolve problems and complaints.
Working Condition:
– Full-time, Permanent Position
– 30 working hours per week, Wage: $28.37 per hour, 4% vacation pay or 10 days paid vacation
